Request for Certificate of Insurance

REQUEST  FOR CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE

The request for Certificate of Insurance is completed through an online application with the Air Cadet League of Canada (ACLC).

Certificates of Insurance may be issued where proof of insurance is requested by a landlord, association or agency permitting the cadets or the League to operate on their property. These certificates are “event specific” to League activities as authorized and approved by the League but can sometimes be issued for “Block” proof of coverage, for example for use of a facility on a weekly basis during an extended period.

The ACL liability insurance policies only provide coverage to the League and its members, and only when the League is involved in the planning or administration of the activity. For more information on coverage, please see the Insurance Booklet as provided on the ACLC website.

The CJCR recently acquired a Commercial General Liability insurance policy that provides coverage to CJCR squadron volunteers and cadets. The CJCR has provided the attached the certificate of liability insurance for squadrons. The squadron can contact CJCRinsurance-assurance@forces.gc.ca for queries.

Please follow the link below to be directed to the Insurance page on the ACLC website. This will open a new tab on your web browser.

Once there, click on ‘ACC20 Squadron Application for Certificate of Insurance (online)’ to be directed to the online application.
